hey guys, here are some questions i asked the one and only CHRIS KOON...
Q:Which do you prefer acting or singing??
A: Wow, tough question right from the start! I guess for me, they're so different, it's hard to choose. Acting is great because it's an escape from reality...you get to play a character and become something or someone you're not, so it's kind of like free therapy...haha. I'm a huge music junkie too, and I grew up on stage doing musical theater, so I'd love to do both acting and music. That's why I think it's really cool they're bringin' back the movie musicals! Acting and music are both great on their own, but if I could combine them, that would be the best!
Q:Tell us alittle about yourself
A: I'm just a young guy pursuing his dream in entertainment and hoping to make a difference along the way.
Q:Are we going to be seeing you on stage anytime soon??whether it's acting or singing??
A: Definitely!!! I've been working really hard putting together an awesome stage show that we're gonna take on the road later this year. It's a lot of high-intensity dance...there's some pop, rock, hip-hop, Broadway...a lot of my influences growing up, and recently as well, so it's something I'm really proud of. It's a really fun and upbeat show, and I'm excited for people to actually see me perform live!
Q:Where do you see yourself 5 years from now??
A: Hopefully still doing what I love, and inspiring other people to do the same!
Q:How did you first get started??
A: I started off doing church musicals as a kid, and kind of grew up on stage, really. I fell in love with performing when I was really young. Then, in 8th grade, I was sitting in English class one day...and my teacher gave me a flier for acting classes at my local theater, and really encouraged me to do it...so I did! I got involved with that, and really got serious from there on out, and knew it was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. Not long after, I signed with an agent and a manager, got my first "real" job, and I guess the rest is history!
Q:If you got to work with any one person on a project who would it be and why??
A: I'd love to play opposite of Danielle Fishel. I've been a huge fan of hers since "Boy Meets World"!!! There's just something really captivating about her, and I think that really shows in her performances.
Q:How do you know the Jonas Brothers??
A: We actually met a couple years ago at a radio station...I think it was one of their first radio interviews ever. I had never even heard of them, but I was friends with one of the on-air DJs at the time that was interviewing them, and I sat in on their interview. The guys and I started talking, and found out we had a bunch of stuff in common. That night, I went to their show, and we just kinda stayed in touch over time. They invited me out to some stuff, and now they're like my brothers...definitely some of the best friends I could ever ask for.

Any embarrassing moments you'd like to tell me about??
I don't think anyone ever wants to tell their embarassing moments, but one really stands out. Public bathrooms are awkward to begin with, let me tell you...lol. I went into the bathroom and they were playing music over the speaker, and I was the only one in there. I didn't even realize I was doing it, but I guess I started singing the song, when the actual artist of the
song walked in and heard me! Luckily, I had met this person a few times before, and we just laughed it off, but it was definitely awkward...lol. Lesson learned: never sing in bathrooms, even if it's to yourself, because you never know when the artist may walk in!
Thanks Chris !!!!!!
